The presidential elections are scheduled to take place on 20th March 2017 (20th April 2017 in case of a second round) and 8th July 2017 for legislative elections.
If you would like to apply please download and return a completed application form to by Friday 20th January (17:00 GMT). Please also note that it is mandatory that you are also registered with the European Commission and that this information is kept up-to-date.
WFD will be submitting the names of up to 26 shortlisted candidates for the LTO position to the EU Commission by Monday 30th January 2017; 16 LTOs would be deployed twice: for the Presidential and then for the Legislatives and 10 more LTOs would be deployed for the Legislatives only.

The working language of the mission will be English, but Portuguese proficiency will be considered a strong asset.
We will inform all shortlisted candidates of our decision to put their names forward. We will NOT inform those who have not been shortlisted.
