Call for UK Long-Term Observers for the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission for Early Parliamentary Elections in Armenia

Following an invitation to observe the early parliamentary elections in Armenia scheduled for 9 December 2018, based on the findings and conclusions of the Needs Assessment Mission deployed from 23 to 25 October 2018, and in accordance with its mandate, OSCE/ ODIHR is preparing to deploy an Election Observation Mission (EOM) for these elections. WFD, as the UK focal point for the mission, invites applications from UK Long-Term Observers (LTO) to be seconded to the EOM.

To be considered as an LTO, you must be available over the following deployment dates:

  • 16 November to 14 December 2018 (inclusive)

We will only propose LTOs who are available for the entire period of the deployment.

If you would like to be considered, please submit your interest by sending a completed application form to election.observation@wfd.org by Sunday 11 November 2018 (23:59 GMT). Please save your application as “YOUR SURNAME-Your Name-LTO” It is mandatory that you are also registered with a fully completed profile on the OSCE/ODIHR Elections Experts Database which must be shared with WFD in your application.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Only British nationals are eligible to apply
  • The working language of the mission will be English
  • WFD will only consider applications received before the deadline
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Short-term Observer recruitment will follow in due course.
