Building on the success of our national parliamentary strengthening programme of work in Lebanon, Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) plans to further extend our collaboration with and support of the Lebanese parliament. Consequently, we are delighted to announce our intention to hire additional staff to join our team based at our office in Beirut.


Programme Manager x 2

Contract type: Fixed term. Contract for Services: Contract length: Until 31/03/2021:
Salary range: $27,000 – $30,000 per annum.

We are looking to recruit two experienced Programme Managers, one to support the delivery of our Parliamentary National Programme and another to support the civil society organisations component of the National Programme in Lebanon.

Programme Managers will play a significant role within WFD’s Lebanese team, working closely with the Country Representative. They will be responsible for delivering programmes from inception through to final evaluation in accordance with programme designs and donor requirements. They will be involved in representing WFD at high-profile national and international events and engaging with senior local and international stakeholders, overseeing financial due diligence and managing budgets, and leading on the logistics of major events and activities.

The key skills we are you looking for are: In-depth political and professional programme management experience; experience of managing good governance and democracy programs, ideally with experience in parliamentary programmes (according to the JD); a background in managing funded programmes; and proven financial and senior stakeholder management skills.

Occasional national and international travel will be required.


Monitoring and Evaluation Officer x 1

Contract type: Fixed term. Contract for Services: Contract length: Until 31/03/2021:
Salary range: $25,000 – $28,000 per annum.  

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer with proven programme experience of M&E methodologies to lead on the delivery of the monitoring plan for our programme in Lebanon. Under the direction of the Country Representative, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for the monitoring plan, the research and learning framework of the project, and for ensuring that qualitative and quantitative evidence are accurately gathered by the Project within good time.

The key skills we are looking for are: Significant technical knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and experience of supporting its implementation; a collaborative approach to working; and experience supporting partners.
