Finance and Budgetary job vacancies x 4 – Skopje, North Macedonia

Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) is supporting the Assembly of Republic of North Macedonia to establish a Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO).  The establishment of the PBO is intended to strengthen the capacities of the Parliamentary Service to provide support to the Assembly in conducting systematised and meaningful financial scrutiny, through sustainable provision of relevant financial analyses and data. The PBO will also provide the MPs with necessary information that will enable them to fulfil their mandate in the area of parliamentary financial oversight.

For this purpose, we are delighted to announce our intention to recruit 4 positions for the PBO in the Assembly of North Macedonia.  The before mentioned positions will initially be supported through WFD’s programme: “Western Balkans Democracy Initiative”. After the end of the programme it is envisioned the PBO will be fully incorporated in the Assembly.

 

All vacancies are offered as a fixed term contract for services and will run until 31/03/2021.

Position: State Advisor for Parliamentary Financial Oversight 

Salary: – 58,068 MKD/gross (approx. 824 GBP/gross) per month

The State Advisor will work independently with high level of expertise in performing the most complex tasks in the area of ​​financial and budgetary oversight and control, overseeing the work of the Parliamentary Budget Office – PDB and play a significant role in stakeholder management and working with elected and appointed officials.

 

Position: Head of Unit – Parliamentary Budget Office

Salary: 44,281 MKD/gross (approx. 623 GBP/gross) per month.

The Head of the Unit manages the process of preparation, providing strategic guidance in financial and budget oversight analysis and research papers; managing PBO staff, conducting and controlling research activities and analysis in the area of financial oversight, to meet the needs of MPs and Assembly Staff.

 

Position: Parliamentary Advisor for Fiscal oversight and Fiscal Transparency

Salary: 39,009 MKD/gross (approx. 545 GBP/gross) per month.

The Advisor for Fiscal oversight and Fiscal Transparency will be responsible for the preparation of financial analysis, in particular fiscal policy analysis, to meet the needs of Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Staff; ensuring quality, objectivity and transparency in preparation of fiscal policy analyses provided for the Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Staff.

 

Position: Parliamentary Advisor for Budgetary and Financial Analyses

The Advisor for Budgetary and Financial Analyses will be responsible for the preparation of financial analysis, in particular budget analysis, to meet the needs of Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Staff; ensuring quality, objectivity and transparency in preparation of financial oversight analyses provided for the Members of Parliament and Parliamentary staff.
