Women leadership expert to support a project on participation of women in The Gambia

September 25th, 2020

WFD will be delivering a five-month project to support Gambian female leaders to strengthen their skills to overcome some of the barriers and blockages, holding them back to participate in fully in politics. This initiative will support 20 female leaders and potential political leaders through a series of practical workshops and action learning on leadership and effective communication.

WFD is seeking a consultant who can develop and deliver a training methodology that will need to be innovative, inclusive and engaging, particularly as the workshop is likely to be fully delivered online. The expert would work remotely with the WFD country office and local facilitators to design an approach that would help participants to gain practical knowledge while building a network of colleagues.

Proposals can come from individuals but also teams of experts, consultancy firms, etc. The selected contractor shall demonstrate proven experience in the areas outlined in terms of reference. Knowledge and experience of The Gambia is desirable but not essential. The proposals should include personal profiles, detailing academic and professional qualifications and specific experience/expertise; a proposed work plan and description of the service(s) to be provided and clear explanation as to how this meets the specification in the terms of reference; and a transparent quotation of the charge for the good(s) or service(s), in GBP sterling (inclusive of taxes).
