Expert to design and deliver evidence-informed policymaking masterclass

WFD is looking to hire a subject matter expert (SME) to design and deliver ‘Evidence-Informed Policymaking Masterclass Series’ for the Bangsamoro Parliamentary staff.

The SME will be expected to design the course outline and delivery methodology to cover the key aspects of evidence-informed policy making, incorporating where necessary, international best practice, and course work required to put theory into practice, and separate feedback and review sessions. The master classes will be designed to achieve the following learning objectives:

  • Developing an understanding of evidence informed policymaking and an outline of the policy process and cycle, identifying MPs’ oversight roles;
  • Identifying and helping implement effective practices and tools staff can use to get research and evidence into Parliament;
  • Further developing the brief writing skills of Parliamentary staff, focusing analysis and synthesis of research and evidence for a parliamentary audience.
