Call for Observers

WFD is looking for two UK Long-Term Observers (LTO) for the ODIHR/OSCE Election Observation Missions to the general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

WFD is pleased to announce that we are commencing recruitment of two UK Long-Term Observers (LTO) to be seconded to the ODIHR/OSCE EOM to the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 2 October 2022. A call for Short-Term Observers will follow in due course.  

To be considered as a UK-seconded LTO, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be available for the full duration of the LTO deployment: 29 August 2022 – 9 October 2022
  • Hold a UK passport valid for at least six months
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level)

The deadline for applications is Sunday, 24 July 2022 (23:59 GMT). Applications received after this deadline may not be considered.

Prospective observers are required to create a personal account in the ODIHR/OSCE Election Expert Database, fully complete/update their profile, and share it with WFD.  
It is mandatory that you are also registered with the ODIHR/OSCE election expert database and that this information is kept up to date. 

The selection process will be finalised by the 26 July 2022 and you will be contacted thereafter only if you were selected.

If you do not have a positive message by the 28 July, regretfully you have not been selected. WFD is unable to provide feedback to individual unsuccessful candidates.
