Government reviews of WFD
On behalf of UK Government, the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) commissions regular external reviews of WFD, as a public body. Reviews gather evidence on WFD results, its relevance for UK foreign policy, and its effectiveness in delivering UK Government priorities and in complying with UK Government governance standards.
In the summer of 2018, a new Review was commissioned and will be completed by the end of 2018.

The UK Government Department for International Development (DFID) also conducts regular reviews of WFD’s work. These can be accessed through DFID’s Development Tracker website:

WFD’s own reviews and completion reports
WFD receives core funding from the UK Government in three-year cycles. The funding supports a number of WFD programmes, which usually run for three years (and can be continued in the following three-year period).
WFD’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Department is committed to assessing the quality and impact of WFD programmes from a corporate perspective; it conducts or commissions evaluations on a regular basis. Relevant reviews and reports are available below:
