Location

The Democracy Action Partnership event takes place annually as an official side event to the ‘Bali Forums’ - the Bali Civil Society and Media Forum and the Bali Democracy Forum. It is an initiative launched by WFD in partnership with the FCDO and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2023 Democracy Action Partnership 

Focused on taking collective action on violence against women in politics and elections, the inaugural Democracy Action Partnership was held in 2023. More than 60 experts and politicians came together at the event, where WFD facilitated the development of a collective vision and recommendations for tackling this pervasive issue.
