World Parliament Day

WFD's locally-led programmes build trusted partnerships with parliaments and parliamentarians globally.
From inductions for first-time MPs, to supporting scrutiny of legislation that closes corruption loopholes, strengthening women's leadership, and facilitating young people's engagement with parliaments, we're working hand-in-hand with parliaments as they become more inclusive, effective, and resilient.
Our work together enables closer collaboration in addressing global challenges such as corruption, mis/disinformation and climate change.
We support parliaments and MPs to address challenges their citizens face, whilst building institutional resilience.
And, we contribute to establishing and strengthening international standards for parliaments.
On International Day of Parliamentarism, or World Parliament Day, explore our impact and join us in celebrating our parliamentary partners globally.
