Flavia is the Woman Member of Parliament, Kassanda district, 11th Parliament of Uganda. Flavia is the Chairperson of the Women League, National Unity Platform (NUP), the leading opposition Political Party in Uganda. She also represents Uganda Opposition in the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU). In Parliament, Flavia contributes to two important Committees: the Standing Committee for Human Rights and the Sectoral Committee of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

Her commitment to leadership led her to become the Chairperson of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre, East Africa, Alumni Chapter of Uganda. Flavia was recognized as the most outstanding YALI Alumni in 2018. She also completed a Public Management Course at Bridgewater State University, USA as a Mandela Washington Fellow. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree in arts with human rights at Makerere University, Uganda, having previously obtained a bachelor's degree of Arts with Education from the same University.

Outside of her work, Flavia enjoys watching movies, reading novels and travelling. Flavia believes in the mantra, ‘Be Afraid, But Do It Anyway!'
