Marie Rose Sawadogo is the 3rd Vice President of ADF-RDA since March 2019. Previously, she was Member of Parliament from 2015 to 2020. She worked with UN agencies and international NGO’s and have many years of experience in a variety of countries and programs such as women’s empowerment and rights, gender equality, and SGBV. She has served as Community Services Coordinator in Chad for Care Canada humanitarian and emergency program for Sudanese refugee; Assistant Country Director-Program Interim in Chad, and as Technical Support Consultant on reproductive health and HIV/AIDS at national, regional and international levels for UNAIDS Technical Support Facility for West-Central Africa.

She has also served as Technical Advisor for a community participation programme in nine countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo under the Canadian West Africa Project To Combat Aids; WHO Global Program on AIDS Technical Officer in Niger and volunteered for UNICEF and UNFPA. As a government official, she went through the rung of the ladder to reach the top of her career as a staff of the Welfare Ministry in Burkina Faso.
