The Honorable Vice-President Marietou Dieng is a graduate in Microbiology-Biosafety and Project Management. She is a biological engineer working in the field of biomedical research at the national and international level.

She is a Member of Parliament elected to the 14th legislature (2022-2027); 5th Vice-President of the REWMI liberal party (since 2020); Vice-president at the National Assembly of the Committee on Health,Population, Social Affairs and National Solidarity; and member of the Sustainable Development Commission and of the Foreign Affairs, Senegalese Abroad and African Integration Commission.

She has also been a Member of the Committee of Initiatives for the Coordination of Women of the Rewmi party (2020) and a member of RENEFAL (National Network of Liberal Women), communication officer

Honorable Marietou Dieng, the youngest female party vice president in Senegal is undoubtedly one of those people who feel very early on their vocation to play roles in the community that transcend the family and social environment. The more than twenty years of active commitment that she proudly displays in the Senegalese political space provide information on the path she has traveled and especially the precocity with which she embraced the political world.
