Maureen Oduori

Maureen joined WFD in 2016 and serves as the Country Director for Kenya. She holds overall responsibility for a broad range of programmes focused on political inclusion, citizens engagement, and legislative strengthening.

She is a seasoned international development practitioner having transitioned from the private sector in 2006. Her international development experience has seen her take on various programme management roles which enriched her experience both as a technical facilitator and a senior practitioner in reputable not-for-profit organisations. Maureen is passionate about empowering marginalised groups to embrace active citizenship, strengthening civil society, and championing accountable governance.
