Mwanaisha Zuberi Mndeme is a lawyer by profession. Her political involvement started in 2018. In the same year, she began serving as Secretary for the Women’s Wing of ACT Wazalendo political party; a role she held until 2020.
She currently serves as the Youth Wing Secretary General for her party and is responsible for coordinating the youth programme and political activities throughout Tanzania. She also serves in the party’s Secretariat, an official organ responsible for execution of political strategy, programmes and activities.
In the October 2020 general elections held in Tanzania, Mwanaisha contested for Member of Parliament for Kigamboni Constituency in Dar Es Salaam.
Her passion is to experience women fully participating in decision-making within their communities, as well as to participate in facilitating and empowering girls and women to attain their rights of survival, protection, development and participation in Tanzania.
