Ravio is WFD Country Director in Indonesia, leading programme design, delivery, management, and oversight in the country. Before assuming the Country Director position, Ravio was instrumental in growing the Indonesia team, initiating projects in new thematic policy areas, and delivering WFD’s first regional project in Southeast Asia aimed at tackling the barriers to women’s political leadership. Among others, his work with WFD has enabled the Indonesian Parliament to incorporate regulatory impact assessment and post-legislative scrutiny into the legislation act and take stock of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies. Beyond the region, Ravio represents WFD to the Open Parliament e-Network (OPeN) consortium and oversees a parliamentary support programme in the Solomon Islands.
Prior to joining WFD, Ravio was a consultant for the Open Government Partnership (OGP), managing high-level global summits and regional forums. An experienced public policy researcher, he has conducted independent assessment of open government action plans in Afghanistan, Georgia, Indonesia, Malawi, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Korea for the partnership's Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) unit.
Ravio completed his International Relations degree from Universitas Padjadjaran in 2015.
