Umulkher Harun Mohamed

Umulkher is a Member of Parliament in Kenya. She was nominated to the legislative house through the Orange Party, one of Kenya's oldest and most prominent political parties. The party is known for its agenda of fighting for human rights and championing progressive initiatives that address poverty, justice, and various political, social, and economic issues. Before her role as an MP, Umulkher founded and led The Keahso Alliace, a non-governmental ogranisation in Kenya that focuses on empowering young people in education and leadership. She has collaborated with organisations such as the European Union, the ASPEN Institute, and other national, regional, and international humanitarian organisations.
