Vasyl Sehin is the WFD Country Director in Ukraine, supporting political parties and stakeholders in Ukraine’s inclusive, democratic recovery. He joined WFD in July 2025, as a Programme Director for Recovering Ukraine Democratically.
He previously co-founded and led the NGO "ANTS," focused on European integration and local development. Vasyl has strong advocacy experience, including work on environmental, administrative services provision, and decentralisation reforms. He also has expertise in implementation of donor-funded projects from the EU, USAID, EBRD, and governments of the UK, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Holding master’s degrees in public administration and law, Vasyl effectively applies his expertise to drive democratic reforms and governance improvements in Ukraine.
